Tasking you with restoring your name after a high-profile crash and burn in the slot house, Vegas Casino Cruisesets you the challenge of taking on a total of five different competitors across a series of gambling games - all, for reasons undivulged, as you sail the seas in a cruise ship.
Those five games – Slot Machines, Video Poker, Roulette, Blackjack, and Baccarat – are then split into several subsets, with a total of 12 different mini-games on offer in all.
Your goal is to win more money than your opponent in the rounds on offer. For example, play a game of classic slots, and – taking it in turns – you and your rival each get five pulls of the lever.

PopCap Games has taken the initiative to make available one of most popular casual games to grace the PC platform – Bejeweled Twist Mobile, on most handsets that are available from major North American and European wireless carriers. This is PopCap’s fourth in-house title for the mobile platform, where Bejeweled Twist will offer a whole new way of playing the puzzle franchise.
Bejeweled Twist features a revolutionary new style of play and the highest production values of any casual game ever created — removing the barriers of traditional match-3 games. Instead of swapping adjacent jewels to make a set, players rotate an entire 2×2 block of gems clockwise in an effort to create a line of three or more gems of the same type. Additionally, in Bejeweled Twist, players don’t have to make a match with every move – instead they can freely rotate gems anywhere on the board, allowing far greater liberty of movement and vastly increased strategic freedom to plan combinations, cascades and chains.
According to Andrew Stein, director of mobile business development at PopCap, “We’re excited to launch what we believe will be the mobile game of 2009 – an amazingly accurate translation that offers truly deep and fun gameplay with tremendous visual appeal. You will notice at first glance that Bejeweled Twist will incorporate a whole new way of moving gems around, and it comes with a wealth of new power-ups and obstacles for added challenge. Other unseen gem types include Flame, Lightning and Fruit gems which will induce fiery explosions and other powerful effects, while new obstacles include Bomb, Locked gems and Coal for that added touch of challenge. You can choose from four game modes – Classic, Blitz, Challenge and Zen in order to fully appreciate Bejeweled Twist. Phones with touchscreen support will also let you experience a new style of playing.
